Act The Word
Let one player leave the room, while the others who are left behind choose an “acting” word, such as “coyly”, “angrily”, “scornfully”, “happily” and so on. The player from outside then comes in and asks any of the others to do some action in “the manner of the word”. For instance, he may ask someone to and him a book in “the manner of the word”. The person must then comply – supposing the word to be angry, he will hand a book to the guesser in an angry fashion. The guesser continues to make similar requests of the other persons in the room until such time as he has guessed the word. The person whose action as given him the answer is then asked to leave the room, while another word is chosen.
